Location

During her exhibition All the arises, currently showing at the Drill Hall, Savanhdary Vongpoothorn has worked with Ainslie School creative-in-resident  Naomi Zouwer to teach children from years 3, 4 and 6 about creative practice in the visual arts. Following a gallery tour Savanhdary led a workshop teaching children how to weave using strips of newspaper and magazine. Students and staff painted the woven paper and added their own designs, drawing and sewing as they desired.

From Wednesday 9 October to Sunday 13 October students of Ainslie School class 6B will be exhibiting their finished artworks in display cases in the gallery, alongside the works in Savanhdary’s exhibition.
